I am so excited for December!

O.K., so your probably puzzled by the title. Well, The Twelve Hours of Thanksgiving is a song, written by me, to the tune of The Twelve Days of Christmas. I put "hours" instead of "days" because Thanksgiving is only one day!

Here are the lyrics:

On the first hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . . 1 big old fat turkey!

On the second hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . . 2 servings of cranberry sauce and 1 big old fat turkey!

On the third hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . . 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old fat turkey!

On the forth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old turkey!

On the fifth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .5 pumpkin pies! 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and big old fat turkey!

On the sixth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . . 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big ole fat turkey!

On the seventh hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .7 warm rolls, 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce and one big old fat turkey!

On the eighth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .8 crisp apples, 7 warm rolls, 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old turkey!

On the ninth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . . 9 golden pears, 8 crisp apples, 7 warm rolls, 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old turkey!

On the tenth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .10 yummy cookies, 9 golden pears, 8 crisp apples, 7 warm rolls, 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old turkey!

On the eleventh hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .11 butternut squash, 10 yummy cookies, 9 golden pears, 8 crisp apples, 7 warm rolls, 6 plates of stuffing, 5 pumpkin pies!, 4 dishes of jello, 3 bowls of potatoes, 2 servings of cranberry sauce, and 1 big old turkey!

On the twelfth hour of Thanksgiving we all ate. . .NOTHING! We all went home sick!

So. Yeah. I hope you liked it! I just thought it would be fun to post! :)

P.S. If you're wondering why I put "dishes of jello" in it, it's because my family eats jello for Thanksgiving! :)
